Following a thorough and demanding selection process, it is with great pleasure we can congratulate Bluewave’s Hayden Corby on his selection to join the Great Britain Academy Fighting Chance 13-18 Development Programme. Hayd has worked amazingly hard to achieve this both in his training and as shown by his tournament performances with eight consecutive division wins. This selection recognises his dedication and his future potential to develop as a GB Taekwondo Athlete. This also recognises the support he has received from our clubs coaches over the last two years but also the excellent training from his Kickboxing club, Basingstoke Freestyle Kickboxing with Steve O’Grady.
The next stage in the journey starts this weekend with Hayd’s first training weekend at the GB National Taekwondo Centre in Manchester.
