We previously posted articles on the website with the achievement of Sian Reilly, Amy Stock and Bradley Welsman successfully achieving their full British Taekwondo Class 3 Corner Judges qualification following the completion of both the theoretical and practical elements of the course.
At the same time as the course was in progress an application on behalf of these students was made for a Coaching Bursary from Basingstoke Sports Council. Following confirmation of the achievement of the qualification, the award of a bursary was confirmed. The students were presented with a cheque for 50% of the costs.
Bluewave is delighted that the Local Sports Council is able to support these students and to recognise their achievement and commitment as well as helping them at the start of the pathway for their development as coaches for the future, and wish to thank them for doing so.
We look forward to the club being able to support the running of future competitions with these students participating as Corner Judges.
