We regularly see articles on the success of competitors at competition’s, however do not necessarily think about the volunteers that also make these events a success.
Sian Reilly and Amy Stock attended the Class 3 Corner Judges course in the autumn of 2013 and with Bradley Welsman successfully passed the theoretical element of the course. At the recent NTC competition in Nottingham Sian and Amy completed the practical element of the course spending most of the day ringside as a corner judge. Following this we were delighted to hear that they had successfully achieved their full British Taekwondo Class 3 Corner Judge qualification.
At the same event, Sian met Sarah Stevenson and took an opportunity for a photo to be taken with Sarah. Sarah has been an inspiration to those involved in Taekwondo for a good number of years and this was a wonderful opportunity for Sian.
We look forward to the club being to support the running of future competitions with these students participating as Corner Judges.
