Unfortunately Master Kevin Hanks will shortly be leaving us as he has taken a new job with GSK in Barnard Castle, Co. Durham. Kev has been a key figure in the development of OBTKD since he joined us 14 years ago. He has personally progressed his own training through the dan ranks and has established a strong reputation as a “no nonsense” instructor especially around self-defence.
Kev’s last class as an OBTKD instructor was on Monday 11th November, though he does expect to still be around some weekends over the coming months until the family moves up north.
Monday training will be continuing and I am pleased to say that Sue Thorn has agreed to take over full responsibility for this class.
