Several Bluewave members attended the British Taekwondo Southern Region Poomsae Session last Sunday. It was a pleasure to see Kup Grades Sarah Meeson and Sean Carstens join experienced attendees Coleen Reilly and Lynne Firth. Three intense hours of Poomsae training under the skilled eyes of Master Derek Summer (British Taekwondo Poomsae Chairman and Cadet Coach)and Master Ali Pourtaheri (International Poomsae Referee) provided the opportunity to all to focus on very specific areas of Poomsae as well as the opportunity to hone on the quality need in some of the basic movements. I am sure that we would all agree that this was an enjoyable session with plenty of learning points for us all and we look forward to being invited to attend the next session in September.
Coleen is looking forward to passing on some of the experiences gained at the next Bluewave Competition Poomsae session on Saturday 1st August 12.00- 2.00.
