Congratulations to the Bluewave team, Coleen Reilly, Joy Stirk and Ethan Core, who competed at this weekend’s National Poomsae Championships at the University of Worchester. Excellent performance and medals for Joy (silver in 66+ Female Dan) and Ethan (bronze in P80 Male). It was also a pleasure for us to be able to work closely with several other clubs with our coaches Gerry Reilly and Coleen Reilly coaching and supporting several competitors from other clubs.
We will be looking to strengthen our Poomsae Competition Team next year so if you are interested in competing in 2020 please make sure to attend our next Competition Poomase Training on Saturday 7th December. The training is free to all Bluewave members and open to other British Taekwondo members for just £5. The format for the training will be;
| 12.00 – 1.00 | Developing technique for poomsae |
| 1.00 – 2.00 | Practice on Kup poomsae |
| 1.30 – 2.30 | Practice on lower Dan poomsae (U14 finish at 2.30pm) |
| 2.30 – 3.00 | Practice on higher Dan poomsae (all other age groups finish at 3.00pm) |
