Dates have now been confirmed for the Chungdokwan training camp in Korea next year. The camp will be from Friday 20th – Monday 23rd July. There will also be an additional opportunity to train with GM Shin Byeong Hyun at his dojang in the evenings of the Tuesday 24th – Thursday 26th.
The plan will be to travel out on Wednesday 18th July to arrive in Seoul early on the Thursday and then travel back on Friday 27th July. This will allow time for training but also sightseeing, shopping etc.
Flight costs will be approximately £800, training camp £115 and additional training with GM Shin £50. Assuming two people sharing a room, hotel costs will be approximately £200 (I will have a more accurate estimate once event hotel is confirmed). So total budgetary estimate for the trip is £1,500/person.
