Well done to the Bluewave competitors at this weekend’s National Poomsae Championships. Great attitude and performances all round. Thank you also to family and friends for supporting everyone, and showing the spirit of Taekwondo by also supporting some non-Bluewave competitors who were at the Championships on their own. Competing for Bluewave were; Master Graham Jones, Master Lynne Firth, Master Coleen Reilly, Amy Stock, Sian Reilly, Olwen Barton, Ellen Farthing, Ria Mistry and Caitlin Walker. Club came away with 5 medals; Gold in the +66 Male Dan – Master Graham Jones, Gold in the K2 Female Mini Peewee Team – Ellen, Ria, Caitlin, Silver in the U17 Female Freestyle – Sian, Bronze in the U60 Female Dan – Master Lynne Firth and Bronze in the K3 Female Mini Peewee – Ria. Fab coaching from Master Coleen Reilly. Master Gerry Reilly officiated as a judge also on both days.
