Hapkido classes starting Sunday 6th April

Reminder that in collaboration with SKMA (School of Korean Martial Arts)  we will be launching a regular Hapkido programme.  The classes will run on a Sunday evening from 7.00-8.30pm at Vickers Business Centre starting from Sunday 6th April.   The classes will be taught by SKMA Instructors Darren Beer and Paul Quinn.  The programme is open to juniors aged 12+ and adults.

Hapkido is a Korean Martial Art which is an excellent compliment to Taekwondo as it shares some of the basic kicks and philosophy but has a deeper focus on self defence applications including joint locks, pressure points and throwing techniques.

This will be a separate programme with a monthly training fee of £30 and annual membership of £30 both payable through SKMA.

This will be open to those currently with the club but also those who would like to train in Hapkido and do not currently train with us in Taekwondo.

If you are interested in signing up or taking a trial class please send an email to hapkido@bluewave.org.uk.  It would be useful to have confirmation from those interested so we can gauge the likely numbers that will be at the class on the 6th.
