Master Eric Rose from the Korean Taekwondo Association of America was a well respected friend of OBTKD. He was an amazingly talented Taekwondo performer and instructor, great artist and excellent host on our trips to Detroit. Unfortunately Master Rose tragically died last year attempting to rescue a woman from drowning.
The memorial event will take the form of a joint sport training session between OBTKD and Powerhouse Taekwondo. The focus will be on matches using the Daedo Electronic Protection Systems—as used at London 2012. Open to all grades and ages.
There will not be a charge. However all those attending will be encouraged to make a donation (suggestion is £5 but more welcome!) to a memorial fund established by the KTAA to provide an arts scholarship in Master Eric Rose’s name.
