Following the British Taekwondo Poomsae Judging Course last weekend, we were delighted to hear this week that all the candidates from the club were successfully in the formal assessments at the course which included a scoring assessment, physical test and a written paper. Congratulations to Gerry Reilly, Lynne Firth, Coleen Reilly, Sian Reilly and Bradley
Welsman on becoming qualified Poomsae Judges. This adds to the numbers of qualified Poomsae Judges in the club, with Amy Stock qualifying earlier this year. We look to seeing them all in action at competitions over the forthcoming months.
Following this Gerry Reilly has been selected to be a Poomsae Judge at the British Taekwondo National Poomsae Championships on the weekend of 8th/9th March. To be invited to participate in the most prestigious British Taekwondo Poomsae event in the UK of the year is a honour for both Gerry and the club. Congratulations to Gerry.
